I studied the English language in combination with the Dutch language at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, and received my Master’s Degree in 2006.
During my studies, I attended a number of specialized courses that provided me with practical skills in translation (from commercial and journalist texts to fiction and poetry) as well as interpreting.
I spent a semester as an Erasmus student at Hoger Instituut voor Vertalers en Tolken (HIVT) in Antwerp, Belgium, where I focused on two-way translation in Dutch and English.
