In 2008, I worked for 6 months as a translation trainee in the Czech Translation Unit of the European Parliament in Luxembourg. Thanks to this opportunity, I gained insight into the specifics of the translation and proofreading of EU documents regarding a variety of topics (politics, international relations, agriculture, food safety, culture, toy safety, and many others).
